BIG SIR DAVE MOORE 893-2157
Talk about the dog days of summer, it’s supposed to be 110 degrees down here today. We might have to move to Paradise.
I would like to start out by thanking John Rawlings for stepping up to perform the duties of the Little Sir again next year. John and I have worked well together this year and we have some ideas to increase membership, activities, and participation, that we will continue to work on through next year. John and I will also be attending the Sir’s Annual Meeting on Aug. 7th with the expectation to expand on our ideas to make Branch 52 one of the best branches of Sir’s.
This brings us to the point that, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE ATTEND THE AUG. LUNCHEON ON AUG. 15TH. Why you ask, because we will be voting on the officers for our branch for 2019. If you are not present, you will not know if your name has been placed in nomination, nor will you know if you were elected to serve for 2019 until you read next month’s bulletin.
In addition to that, it will be the last time to purchase tickets for our Annual Picnic which will be held on Saturday Sept. 15th. Remember this event is open to all, family, friends, neighbors, etc. Tickets are $12.00 each adult and $6.00 for children 12 and under. This event is always a lot of fun with the raffle, bingo, and great food. See the flyer in this bulletin.
To enjoy this nice warm weather, just think back to when it never got above 40 degrees last winter and every time you wanted to play golf, it was raining.
See you all in August.

LITTLE SIR JOHN RAWLINGS 877-1292
Greetings to you all. We had a great meeting last Month our guest speaker from PG&E, Brent Lincicum gave us some very interesting information on the production of Hydro Electricity. We are still working on our guest speaker for August. We hope to get the Fire Safe Council to speak to us about the many ways we can protect ourselves and property against wild fires. We also hope to get up dated information on evacuation routes and their numbered order of use. All of us enjoyed a very good lunch last month and look forward to another good one at our coming meeting. I want to thank the Nominating Committee for their hard work in filling our vacant positions. I ask each Sir 52 member to think about taking any position that may come open because our strength is in our members and our future is with you as well. So always have fun and bring in one.
Little Sir John Rawlings

Invite your friends and acquaintances to join us for our luncheons or social events; Bowling, Golf, RV’ing, our summer Picnic in August and the Christmas dinner in December. Don’t forget to alert the Attendance chairman so they can make arrangements for you and your guests. REMEMBER: PLAY A 6 INCH BUMP AND PLAY THE BALL ALL OF THE WAY into THE HOLE!!!
For any questions on the format of play or rules check with Mike Kruger or any member of the golf committee.
Your go to guy for golf: Ralph Johnson.
