Identify, manage and complete and ongoing funding applications and current opportunities. Identify other funding sources, including but not limited to, donations, sponsorships and company giving. Working with the Development Team, manage them to deliver the following functions:Identify and grow the IWF funding baseWith passion and energy actively identify & target potential members and customers both in the UK and Internationally to meet sales targets.Develop our membership and sales model to take account of all those who could benefit from IWF.Pro-actively sell the IWF values, services and mission to the toughest internet start-ups and established businesses.Identify and target decision makers and budget holders within potential IWF member companies. Passionately and pro-actively sell IWF values to potential CSR members.Work closely with the Marketing & Events Manager to devise campaigns and approaches to support the membership & sales functions.Fully manage the sales process through prospect development / tender receipt, proposal, presentation and closing negotiations.Confidently analyse IWF data to help realise sales potential. As a member of the team identify new services to meet market changes.Service delivery to IWF Members:Secure/manage retention of existing IWF membership base through programme of stewardship.With the support of colleagues, creatively and dynamically provide a first-class, relevant and responsive service to our members.Oversee smooth delivery of technical services to members by mapping process and coordinating with IWF colleagues from other departments.With the Deputy CEO/COO, develop a dynamic and productive relationship with the IWF Funding Council, including reporting back to them at regular meetings.Develop and implement a cross departmental new product working group and develop associated business modelsConfident and energetic communicatorBe comfortable with communicating face to face, telephone, email and in person.Seek opportunities to speak at relevant public events and attend networking events.Working with the Marketing & Events Manager, review IWF presentations to potential members and other customers to “sell” the IWF benefits.Where relevant be prepared to act as one of the IWF’s spokespeople with broadcast, print and online journalists. Confidently brief team members.
