Secretary Report: Andy SimpsonAll new recruits on for free memberships into the IHSAA have been invited through the new link the IHSAA has established.   We are working with the state to rein-burst the volleyball officials that took the Hatch Class with Steve Kline.

Football reports Mark Terry: Tom Herbert worked replay official for BSC semi finals, George Plesac worked Peach bowl, Mark Terry worked the NAIA Semi final in Iowa. Mark is working on 2016 schedules now and should start assuaging as soon as he gets crew confirmations. Mark needs to make sure the crews he assigns will be working together. Mark will have to go outside of our association to fill the games. Possibly 2 to 4 games which he will use the IFOA to help fill them.

Green Bay Packers coach Mike Neil and Carolina Panthers and East Chicago graduation Kawan Short Green-bay Packers would like assistance with our officials using them for the clinic.

Some lower level assigning done all middle school done.

Volleyball Deb Glass: Varsity schedule done (Do not have EC kouts lake station marquette (conference only) and whiting) of what she has.

Basketball (Fred Scheub): All meetings complete and late cancellations by officials on freshman and JV games. Fred was approached in the parking lot by a parent (Female) giving him grieve about a call against her son. This brings up the importance of security from locker room to cars after games. This could have left Fred open to “He said, She said” situation with the female parent.

Baseball Mike Mendoza: Working on scheduling. Mike did get his schedule from East Chicago by sending a note to the AD if he did not receive the schedule Mike could not guarantee umpires of this games.

Soccer Report Branko Jasnic:  462 of 466 games assigned which is 99% of the games we received. We have no schedules from Marquette or East Chicago.

Soccer committee of Bob Filepek, Armando Garcia and Branko Jasnic will be getting together next month to discuss meeting subjects. Also will start officials meetings in May to give all soccer members enough chances to get their meetings in.
