If the participant is not employed by a local school district, but holds a Maryland certificate, he/she should retain the credit forms and submit one copy to the Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Educator Certification and Program Approval, Certification Branch, when requesting renewal of his/her certificate as directed above. ................
