Quality Assurance Specialist, MassMutual Federal Credit Union, Springfield, MA

MassMutual Federal Credit Union (MMFCU) is seeking a detail-oriented individual for a 40-hour Quality Assurance Specialist position based in our Springfield office. This is a great opportunity for an individual who works well independently, has a thorough attention to detail, and has great written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities:

? Produces exception reports identifying defects and defect rates within core functions of Credit Union operations, according to departmental guidelines/time frame.

? Provides operational and exception reports to President/CEO, Management and other Credit Union departments. ? Works as individual team member on special projects that support the improvement of service quality, member

records and Credit Union data. ? QC review processes, new products and services, changes in products and services and/or assistance with the

development of new reports. ? Identifies and notes exceptions, identify factors causing exceptions, effect corrections and make recommendations

to modify operations to reduce exceptions. ? Participates in staff education and training to increase awareness of quality control. ? Provides support as needed for QA & Support Service functions. Develops flow charts or time lines for the various

processes to capture possible points of failure to identify opportunities for improvement. ? Reviews account and loan documents to ensure accuracy and to identify trends. ? Identifies and makes necessary corrections to errors, omissions or incomplete records/data. ? Provides support to new account verification functions, offering decisions on accounts per branch request. ? To maintain exception reports and tracking systems to accurately identify, correct and report selected defects,

defect rates and trends. ? To assist supervisor with providing accurate and timely operations and exception reports to President/CEO,

Management and or other department heads. ? Make recommendations for the improvements of service quality and operational processes. ? To assist with improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process. ? Support development, maintenance and operation of organizational reporting processes. ? Maintain, create and revise procedures as necessary. ? Ensure individual and Credit Union adherence to policies and standard business policies. ? Complete projects as assigned. ? Provide informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates.

Qualifications:

? Experience: A minimum of six months business experience in a similar or related field. ? Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade

school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training.
