You will sit 1 exam for MBU1

You have covered the following topics this year and in previous years. Make sure you cover each of them with your revision.

- Scientific equipment and investigation skills Solids, liquids and gases Animal Adaptions Forces Basic reproduction Materials Plant growth Insulation How light behaves Space Chemical reactions

The exam paper will be 60 minutes long They will contain a combination or short answer, long answer and multiple choice questions. Remember reading is NOT revising! You need to be doing. Some suggested revision activities are:

Making revision cards Making pages of summary notes and condensing them down. Watching YouTube videos on topics and making notes on them. Use BBC Bitesize. Drawing out diagrams and labelling (without a text book). Then covering

them up and testing yourself. Get a parent/guardian to test you. Use Doddle to watch/complete some of the various activities.

The exam paper will be 1 hour 30 minutes long and is a NON calculator paper. It will contain a combination or short answer, long answer and multiple choice questions. Suggested revision activities are:

Half term homework Corbett Maths 5 a day Making revision cards Making pages of summary notes and condensing them down. Watching YouTube videos or Corbett Maths on topics and making notes on

them. Use BBC Bitesize. Drawing out spider diagrams. An A-Z of key words associated with a topic. Get a parent/guardian to test you. Use Doddle to watch/complete some of the various activities.
