Choose an object or animal, sketch the shape out – or use a template. Make a little list of useful words and see what you come up with! For example, if you choose a star shape, some useful words could be:Shiny, silver, up high, by night, beautiful, fiery etcMaths:Ask your child about time using a clock. What does the clock show? What do both the ‘hands’ mean? Not all these questions need to be answered now, we will come onto this tomorrow.Practice what day of the week it is. Have a go at making a game of snap, write each day of the week on a bit of paper and match them up then put them in order. If you made a song of the days, have a sing!Keep trying to beat your exercise times! Could we try a different exercise today? Is it quicker or slower to do?Throughout the day try and use the terminology around the time of day (morning, afternoon, evening).Our goal with this day is to solidify our knowledge of morning, afternoon, evening, and the days of the week.
