Several counties expressed concern that the verbiage on these forms does not align with current regulation.

San Francisco County stated: "The language on the forms aligns with pre-ACA rules in that the pregnant individual's eligibility was dependent on either linkage/or having a child. With ACA rules, it is not accurate (from a policy perspective) to say that the client's benefits may discontinue if they fail to return the requested information (with the exception of individual's aided for pregnancy only, but even then that language is problematic).

Please be prepared with suggested language for this discussion. If the committee comes to an agreement on appropriate language, we will then send a CRPC to DHCS/CDSS for their feedback and language approval.
