Approved Human Trafficking Courses for Health Care Practitioners

House Bill 2059, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, requires Health and Human Services (HHS) to approve courses on human trafficking for health care practitioners. This list will be expanded as more courses are approved. If you do not see your profession listed in the Continuing Education Credit/Special Note column, you may take a course for a non-CE certificate of completion. Please check your licensing board's requirements on whether any HHS-approved human trafficking course will meet your requirement or if you also need CEs for the course. For course-specific questions please contact the training organization directly. For general questions, please contact human_trafficking@hhs.. NOTE: Courses marked with * are free and available to all practitioners online and on-demand. Courses marked with ** are pending renewal of HHS approval. Courses with an approval range longer than 2 years have been renewed since their initial approval date.
