Khouristate treasurerWHAT: On August 1, 2017, the Local Fiscal Accountability Division (Division) revised the Annual Local Unit Fiscal Report (F65) as well as the manner and location in which the form is filed. In the past, the Division accepted paper and/or Excel copies of this report; that is no longer an option for local units. Pursuant to section 141.424, Section 4 (3): The state treasurer shall prescribe the forms to be used by local units for preparation of the financial reports. WHY: The reason behind these changes are two-fold: 1) To better ensure the integrity of the data being submitted; therefore, users may encounter what is referred to as “prevent submission” errors. The message will point the user to the specific problem so it can be resolved prior to submission; 2) Allows the Division to maintain one system where all documents are being filed. The Annual Local Unit Fiscal Report (F65) is now available in the same location where the Audit Reports and Qualifying Statements are being filed with only one login (User ID and Password) required to file any document. NEXT: As the Division continues to streamline its processes, users will continue to find more information in a single site. Please visit our website where you can now file the Annual Local Unit Fiscal Report (F65) as well as other required documents (File Online Reports) or to search for documents that have been filed (Document Search), as well as obtaining raw data ( HYPERLINK "" Mi Community Financial Data) Please be sure to sign up for information being shared by the Division.
