We will look at copies of the bill and go to the city and see if we can work something out on a one time basis.Public comment closes at 7:06 pm.Assessor’s ReportDecember Board of Review 12/12/17@ 5:30 at Bingham Township hall. Utility Operator ReportMiller brothers completed the catch basin in the twp. hall parking lot.Lift station #5 estimate was emailed, cleaning the wet well first then do the hydrodynamics.Lead copper samples where all in compliance. Public Water Supply regulations are going to be changed from 15 parts per million to 10 parts per million.Twp. water plant had a control system failure specialist came in to rebut the system may need to be updated soon.Meeting with DC Engineering to update any standards the Twp. needs.Alexander Chemical will no longer deliver to MI. Will look into getting a new supplier.Sprinkler and outside use of water update for new build packages.Include a form that will keep the contractor to sign off on the correct piping.Planning and ZoningPC-49-17 MA Fox Family Trust: rezone a portion of the property located at 1312 N. Scott Road, Parcel ID#19-030-010-300-020-00, Section 10, Bingham Township from R-1 – Single Family Residential District to A-2 – General Agriculture District. Motion by Hufnagel supported by Chant to recommend requested zone request. Motion carries.Old BusinessBingham Commerce Park Plan: Tom Motz contacted supervisor Silm about possibly bringing that project back. Lagoon closing costs meeting 12/12/17: will find out more about the final costs. Bingham Twp. fire hall change of zone PC-39-17 MA: done and complete. What would the twp. like to do with it? Will look into finding a realtor and see about putting it up for mittee Reports-Joint meeting St. Johns City Commission: still not happening.Bingham Twp. hall-Stay Dry issue: sump pump came below the drain site. Coming out on 12/15/17 to look into fixing the issue before the pipes burst.Sewer permit process clarification: previously discussed.Other:New BusinessLiquor License Inspector-renew: John Mehney is the current inspector and we will keep him on.Fireproof file cabinet: waiting to hear back from the county for a counter offer.Budget review/amendments: Motion by Hufnagel supported by Harger to place the recommend budget amendments. Motion carries.Accumed fire bill dispute: will contact the fire department to get more description of what happened. Will review at the Jan. meeting. OtherReports CAASA UpdatesNext Meeting December 14, 2017 @ 7pm Financial updateTreasurers Report Fund Balances: Total amount received is $120,957.18. General fund has $636,561.04 and Restricted fund has $25,079.92. LAFCU account with $82,766.47. Tax account $7,417.04. With the total from the general and restricted funds including the LAFCU and tax account has a total of $751,824.47. Tax Collections: tax bills are out. The data base didn’t update the new addresses and owners, those bills have been fixed and resent.Motion by Hufnagel and supported by Harger to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion carries.Clerks ReportInvoices for Approval: Accounts payable for period December 1-11 for check numbers 8263 thru 8277 with a total disbursement for this time period in the amount of $19,523.89. With 15 checks issued.Milage renewal: for Fire and EMS will be placed on next election for renewal.Financial Reports: cash receipting and bank reconciliation is done and balanced as of October 2017.Motion by Hufnagel and supported by Smith to approve accounts payable in the amount of $19,523.89 for check numbers 8263 thru 8277. Motion carriers.Supervisor’s Reporta.) Budget work session January 2018: will be January 20th @8a.m. at the twp. hall.b.) Letter about assessor: resident that lives on Wildcat Rd. had someone come saying that they are with the assessor but after some research it was discovered that they had the wrong house.
