Microsoft TeamsCKHS is transitioning to Microsoft Teams for many of the things we doevery day. Videoconferencing, scheduling meetings, and now HIPAAcompliant texting. CKHS will be pushing the Teams icon onto mostdesktops across the system as part of our Windows upgrade in November. In addition, most users can go to their APP store anddownload the Teams App on their phones and IPADs. We are encouraging everyone who is currently using TIGER connect for texting to make theswitch to Teams. Advantages:Everyone in our system has a Microsoft 365 account and thus access to Teams texting. That means in addition to Physicians, our staff can also sign up for Teams texting. This includes nurses, MAs, technicians, social workers, etc. Users can form groups on their own and use group texting and group meetings to communicate within their department or office.Lots of special features like integration with your phone book and contact list, urgent texting with repeats until text is read.Read receipts to ensure deliveryMicrosoft has said that in the future, integration with EMRs is coming!Below are instructions for downloading and signing in to Teams. If you have recently downloaded MobileIron GO then you may already have the Teams App. If not then you can go to the PMH Apps icon and download Teams from there.3035808169227509509762796870You can also go to the Microsoft 365 web page or your App store and download TeamsThe first time you access teams, you will be asked to sign in with your Microsoft 365 credentialsYour username is the username you use to sign into the EMR or other applications at CKHS followed by the AD account information.
