Mrs. Hanna’s Virtual Classroom Cheat SheetParents/students: Please print out or save this document for easy access at home. Refer to it for the duration of virtual learning if you have forgotten a newly adopted classroom policy, procedure or digital access point. Online ClassroomMicrosoft Teams - Teams will remain our online classroom for the remainder of the year, and students should continue to access it through their ClassLink accounts. Students should use Teams for all of the following classroom activities: Access, create and submit new assignments Join online chats and meetings to get answers to questions or participate in new instructionAccess key files, such as weekly agendas, chapter content or technology help sheets Office hours – I will hold office hours 5 days a week. Office hours will allow students to get help with content-based questions, assignment submission issues or any other academic problems they may run into. I will respond to both emails and Teams chat messages during these periods. If we start to see high volume, I will begin holding Teams chat meetings that multiple students can join via invite. Office hours will begin on Monday, 4/13. My office hours will be as follows:Monday through Friday: 9:00-11:00 a.municationOutlook - please use email as your primary form of communication outside of designated office hours. Parents, students and guardians should send all email communication to hannac@ ResourcesTextbook - we will be transitioning to the Pearson textbook for the remainder of the year in order to take advantage of the online edition. Students already have access to the textbook via ClassLink. When you log-in to ClassLink, you simply need to find this icon: Please familiarize yourself with the textbook over the course of the next two weeks, as you will need to utilize it as your primary resource moving forward. You can also submit your answers to your textbook. I can see those BrainPop – BrainPop can be used for enrichment and review. Montford’s BrainPop log-in information is as follows:Username: montfordpop Password: brainpop123FOCUS – assignment files will be attached on FOCUS. If your student has an existing Missing (Z) assignment, they can find the assignments files tab in their detailed FOCUS grade breakdown and download the necessary instructions from there. See the screenshot below for guidance:Submitting workWork can be submitted in three ways:FOCUS file upload - I will also be enabling FOCUS file uploads. You can upload your completed file on FOCUS by clicking into your detailed gradebook for our class, finding the assignment you want to upload a file for, then clicking the Edit/Upload button found in the far right column titled “Student files” (screenshot found below)Email attachment - attach your completed work file to an email and send it directly to Hannac@ Teams assignment post – if an assignment is posted in Teams, my preference is that you submit your work there as well.
