How to use PS-Module III Driver download software to PS-Module III? 

(For MB OEM / VLV OEM / MBV PKG / BMV PKG )

**Please note PS-Module lll only supports Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP Operating System.

Step 1. Please become our member. ()

Step 2. Please click “How To Use PS-Module?”.

Step 3. Download “PS Module III Driver “.

I. Click the “Save” button.

II. Save “ PSM3_Driver.zip “ in the path = c:\.

III. Press the right key of the mouse, then select ” Extract All…”of ”PSM3_Driver.zip”.

IV. Click the “ Next “ button to copy files from inside a ZIP archive.

V. Select a Destination, then press the “ Next “button.

VI. Extraction is successful.

Step 4. Connect the USB cable to PS-Module III.

Step 5. Install “PS-Module III Driver “.

I. Select “Install from a list or specific location ( Advanced )”, then click the “ Next ” button.

II. Select “ Search for the best driver in these locations “, “ Include this location in the search “, then press the “ Browse “ button to select “ PS-Module III Driver ” location.

III. Please click the “ Continue Anyway “ button to proceed with Hardware Installation.

IV. Install “ PS-Module III Driver “ is successful.

Step 6. Return to the page of Member, click “WEB PSM” to enter the page of software download. Press the “ Tools “ button to click “ Internet Options “.

Step 7. Select “ Security “, then click the “Custom Level “ button.

Step 8. Select “ Enable “ for the following items in Security Settings.

I. Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls

II. Binary and script behaviors

III. Download signed ActiveX controls

[pic]

IV. Download unsigned ActiveX controls

V. Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe

VI. Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins

VII. Script ActiveX controls marked sate for scripting

Step 9. Please click the “ OK “ button to complete Security Setting. Then click the “ Yes ” button to be sure you want to change the Security Settings for this zone. Click “ X ” to close the window of Security Settings / Internet Options.

**If you follow the above steps to complete PS-Module lll Driver and Install, but your computer can’t detect PS-Module lll. Please refer to Trouble Shooting as below.

Trouble 1: Make sure PS-Module lll Driver is installed.

Step 1. Press “Start” and select “Settings” then select “Control Panel”.

Step 2. Double click “System” icon.

Step 3. Select “Hardware” and click the “Device Manager” button.

Step 4. Find “Modems” and double click it, if you can see “AUTOLAND USB serial emulation”, the PS-Module lll Driver was installed successfully. If not, the PS-Module lll Driver was not installed successfully.

Step 5. Under “Modems” group, if you see the front of “USB Device” shows yellow “!” make, go to

Step 6. If not, please see suggestion.

Suggestion: Follow PS-Module lll install guide (Page 89), step by step install PS-Module lll Driver.

Step 6. Click “USB Device” that with yellow “!” mark, and press right button of the mouse, select “uninstall”.

Step 7. Click the “OK” button, after “uninstall” and no more yellow “!” mark be found under “Moderns” group, then please see the suggestion.

Suggestion: Follow PS-Module lll install guide (Page 89), step by step install PS-Module lll Driver.

If you complete the trouble 1 and the problem still exists. Please see Trouble 2.

Trouble 2. Make sure the USB hardware of PC is compatible with PS-Module lll.

Step 1. Follow Step 4 of Trouble 1, find “Universal Serial Bus Controllers” in “Device Manager” and double check it. If you can find “USB Universal Host Controller”, the USB hardware is compatible with PS-Module lll.

Step 2. Follow step1, if you can find “USB Open Host Controller”, the USB hardware is not compatible with PS-module lll.

Suggestion: Use another PC that USB hardware is compatible with PS-Module lll, or add external USB card that is compatible with PS-Module lll.

If you complete the trouble 1 and 2, the problem still exists. Please see Trouble 3.

Trouble 3. Make sure PS-Module lll uses the com port 1~9 (PS-Module lll does not support the com port after 9).

Step 1. Continue Step 4 in Trouble 1.

Step 2. Click “AUTOLAND USB serial emulation” and press the right button of mouse, select “Properties”.

Step 3. Select “Advanced” and click “Advanced Port Settings...”.

Step 4. Find the COM Port Number, the COM1 ~ COM9 is OK for PS-Module lll.

Step 5. Find the COM Port Number, COM10 ~ COM255 is not acceptable for PS-Module lll.

Suggestion: Change Com Port Number.

Step 6. Select one of COM1 ~ COM9, ex. COM3.

Step 7. Click the “OK” button.

Step 8. Click the “YES” button.

Step 9. Click the “OK” button.

When you finish the above steps to install PS-Module III Driver, you can proceed to download upgraded software or leave. Next time when you need to upgrade software from our website, please start from the following steps. (Please note you need to connect USB to PC before downloading software)

PS-Module III (For MB OEM / VLV OEM / MBV PKG / BMV PKG )

Step 1. Autoland Website → Member Login → WEB PSM. Select the download software you need , click “ ... ” to proceed with upgrades.

Step 2. Enter “ User ID ”.

Step 3. The software is downloading, it will take 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 4. The software is upgraded successfully. You can start to use new software.

** Error Message **

If you see this message, PS Module III may not connect to PC. Please connect PS Module III to PC and check Driver install before use.

This message shows the user connects wrong PS Module III, please use right PS Module III.

PS-Module III ( NON Battery )

Step 1. Autoland Website → Member Login → How to Use PS-Module?

Step 2. Download PS-Module File Manager.

Step 3. Install “PS-Module File Manager” is successful.

**Before you proceed with the next step, please confirm if you have completed upgrade software request. (Autoland Website → Member Login → Ps-Module Upgrade → Select which software you’d like to upgrade, then press the “Order” button → click “Order Matter \ Send Order” → Press the “Confirm” button → Exit Ps-Module Upgrade.)

Step 4. Click the “Load” button. [pic]

Step 5. Select the download file that you stored at your computer and open it.

Step 6. The download file is successfully loaded.

Step 7. Select file for install.

Step 8. Successfully download. [pic]

Step 9. Exit the PS-Module File Manager.

**Delete Software**

If you want to delete software from PS-Module lll, select the software you want to delete and press the “Delete” key on the keyboard. The information window will pop up and ask you “Remove 1 item??” Please click the “Yes” button.
