How to Edit

1. Open the Space Decoder file. Go to slide 8. On this slide enter your first question. Each slide states which letter must be the correct answer for that slide. Be sure to place your correct answer with the correct letter for each slide. Go to the next slide and continue. You will notice that after approximately four questions slides will be a few game slides. Just skip these and do not delete or edit them.

2. Continue repeating step one until you have typed in all your questions.

• If you need more slides. Over in the Slides View pane, click on one of the question card slides you wish to duplicate and then go to the Insert menu and choose Duplicate Slide. (Do not choose copy and paste as this will lose formatting.) Be sure to move the question slides around so that you do not have a pattern such as three slides in a row that are all answer A.

• If you need more question space, you can make the font size smaller and get more text onto the screen.

• Pictures - you can insert a picture or clip art onto any question slide if needed.

3. Delete any unused question slides.

4. When finished save your file.

How to Play

1. Give each student the game.

2. To start the game, select “Slide Show Menu”, then choose “View Show”. This will start the PowerPoint show.

Note: If you are using a version of Microsoft Office prior to Office 2000 some of the functions in these games may not function properly. It is advised that you do your editing of the slides in the older version that you are using but use a PowerPoint viewer for actual game play. A link to the PowerPoint 2007 viewer is below:
