2019 Election Procedures
(Effective Date 09/30/18)
1. A nominating committee will be appointed no later than 120 days prior to the Annual Meeting. (October 3, 2018)
2. The nominating committee will file their nominations with the Secretary of the Board no later than 90 days prior to the Annual Meeting (December 21, 2018).
3. A notice will be made to all members no later than 75 days prior to the annual meeting. This notice will include election procedures, vacancies may be made by petition, and election deadlines. (January 5, 2019)
4. Any member in good standing, 16 years of age, with a minimum $25 share balance, may petition to be placed on the final ballot for election to the Board of Directors.
5. Candidates wishing to run for the Board of Directors by petition must complete a biographical data form. They must return this form along with a picture, and petition signed by one percent of the membership to the Secretary of the Credit Union no later than 40 days prior to the Annual Meeting. One percent of the membership will be determined as of the end of the 3rd quarter of the previous calendar year. (February 5, 2019)
6. No nominations may be made from the floor at the Annual Meeting unless sufficient nominations have not been received to fill vacant positions.
7. Nominations made by the nominating committee and by petition shall be posted at the Credit Union office at least 35 days prior to the Annual Meeting. (March 8, 2019)
8. Printed ballots will be mailed at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting to each eligible voter. (Ballots will be submitted to the Election Committee for approval before printing.)

9. Ballots must be returned to the tellers of the election no later than midnight 5 days prior to the Annual Meeting. (April 8, 2019 @ 12:00 p.m.)
10. In the event of a tie vote, the flip of a coin will be used at the Annual Meeting to determine the winner.
11. Election results will be announced publicly by the Election Committee Chairman at the Annual Meeting. (April 16, 2019 @ 5:00 p.m.) Candidates for the Board of Directors may contact the Election Chairman for their results once all ballots have been counted and the election is completed.
