For example: Preparing you for theory, lesson plans, students paperwork, using grade book and attendance book, using different methods to teach different students, how to assign students and help students on clinic floor, preparation for State Board. This is an extremely "Hands ON" training. Two instructors will conduct the training course with a small group of 2 student Instructors to ensure that you receive our full and undivided attention and the highest quality training provided today. This work is graded by an instructor and entered into student’s cumulative record. The grades are evaluated on the following standards:Number of assignments completed 20%Correct use of professional tools 20%Followed instructions 20% Safety and sanitation requirements followed 20%Finished results: neatness, balance, general appearance 20% Total 100% Satisfactory progress in theory grades:Theory grades are classroom assignment or test given by instructors. Passing grades are 70% or above students must proceed through the program at a pace leading to completion in the time frame allowed by their contract.Grading scale:Excellent 90-100 A Good 80-89 B Average 70-79 C Fail 69-Below F All grades are given in number percentages -70% is the lowest passing grade - and 70% must be achieved in order to graduate. There are no none credit remedial course offerings. Course imploded and repetitions are not counted in calculating grade average.Minimum and maximum time frames for completing each course:Maximum time frame means attendance of 100%. If a student attends 100% of the time, he or she will complete their course in the following time frame:School Rules are as followed:?Clock in on time clock and sign in on daily time sheet. No student may allow another person to clock in or out on his/ her behalf?No credit shall be given for any times written in, except in a documented case of time clock failure or other situation approved by the department of TDLR.?If student is in or out of the facility, he/she must clock out,?Students leaving the facility for any reason, including smoke brakes, lunch, and breaks must clock out.?If for any reason you forget to clock out your hours will not be valid for that day and you will lose the hours for the day no exceptions.?If for any reason you forget time card please ask director for a temporary card for the day.?Student role call is done 4 times a day to make sure all students on the clock are in facility.?Day time theory starts at 9:00am, if for any reason you are late you can‘t clock in till 10:00am after theory.?Evening student’s theory starts at 8:00pm?Students if you are running late or will be absent please contact office personal at 972-466-2333.?Laptops are welcome during Theory for education purposes only. If you are found using laptops for any other reason you will be asked to put laptops away.?No MP3 players with head phones?Complete all assignments on time. Late assignments will not be given credit except under extreme circumstances as approved by the instructor.?Be actively involved in class by thoughtfully contributing to discussions, task, and assignments.?Turn all cell phones off during class and practice floor. If it is an emergency please step out of the class clock out attend your call once call has been completed clock back in.?All students must have their practical kits as well as theory book.
