There are lots of examples here to help you: your best to use lots of great describing words and decorate your poem using your chosen colour. Here is a little reminder of similes and metaphors: Numeracy:Watch this introduction to negative numbers: Now draw a number line and practise doing some sums involving negative numbers. Then do your sums on the number line to check if you were right. Create your own rainbow picture with a thank you message to display on a window in your house. Be as creative as you like. Read for at least 30 minutes every day and talk about your book. Keep a log of the books you read. Log into and listen to a story throughout the week. Play spelling and maths games on Sumdog as well as doing your weekly challenges. Continue to do the daily Joe Wicks workout.If possible, try to get outside for some fresh air. Please continue to upload any work onto the Learning Journey website or on Seesaw. And please keep sending us any messages or queries as they arise.Reading: This week choose some comics to read on Epic and as well as enjoying them try to familiarise yourself with the features. Create a comic strip of your favourite chapter in your reading book. You can do this in your jotter or by using digital technology. This website allows you to do it online: to include images, speech bubbles and thought bubbles.There is a power point on Seesaw which will give you some more help with this. Try to upload your work on Seesaw for us to see. Numeracy:Log onto using your log in details and play the numeracy games that have been set for your group. Log-ins are exactly the same as before. Mental HealthThe next five motivational songs have been added to your playlist: is National Dance day so have a go at making up a dance to your favourite song from the playlist so far or another song of your choice.French:Check the weather forecast each day and practise saying the weather in French. Minecraft Spelling.pdf*The link will be on Seesaw too if you have difficulty viewing thisNumeracy: Popcorn mathsOn little pieces of paper write as many numbers as you like and write 4 symbols (+ - x and ÷) but colour the paper with the symbols so they are a different colour from the numbers. Now scrunch up all the paper and put in a bowl. Take 2 numbers and a symbol out at a time and calculate the sum. Try and play some of the coding games that you think look fun: you do some research on John Muir and create an informative poster with some key facts??
