QATAR SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Federal Ministry of Education is pleased to inform the general public that the Qatar Government is inviting Nigerians to apply for Qatar Scholarships Grant for 2021/2022 Academic Session for undergraduate and graduate programmes.

2. Entry requirements:

a. Applicants must be Nationals from an Official Development Assistance (ODA);

b. Applicants must visit the partner universities websites to learn more about the various opportunities available to prospective undergraduate and post graduate students;

c. Applicants must have received provisional acceptance into one of the partner academic institutions in the following selected courses, Vocational Training, Information and Communication Technology, Technical Engineering and other Scientific Programmes.

3. Applicants are to note that:

a. Academic institutions nominate academically eligible applicants from (OECO) Countries for scholarship funding;

b. Each partner Higher Institution will choose degrees and courses available for applicants;

d. Those that have been provided with a provisional acceptance from partner Universities will be considered for receiving a Qatar Scholarship (QS) award;

e. QS selects the final list of applicants who are awarded a Qatar Scholarship.

4. Steps to apply for a Qatar Scholarship. Interested applicants are advised to:

b. register and meet the admission requirements of their chosen academic institution; c. apply to receive a scholarship at their academic institutions; d. note that the academic institution nominates academically eligible applicants from OECD

countries for QS scholarship funding; e. be aware that the QS selects final list of applicants who are awarded a Qatar Scholarship.

5. Eligibility:

QS candidates must have first been provided an acceptance at a degree program and be a national of an Official Development Assistance country to be considered of receiving a Qatar Scholarship funding.
