August 1975 - Present

Since returning to Trinidad after graduating from the University of Exeter, I have worked as a private tutor of Spanish with many students including Language Scholarship winners, the most recent of whom placed first in the Caribbean at CAPE Spanish.

September 2004 - Present

In addition to working as a Private tutor, I also manage a tutoring service which serves students from secondary schools in the Port-of-Spain area, which gives specialised individual attention to students in all subject areas, and has been delivering consistently excellent exam results.

November 2007 – June 2008

I reviewed the Aventura series (Books 1 to 3) for Hodder Education, UK, bringing the texts in line with the SEMP syllabus prepared by the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago.

2007 – Present

For the past four years I have been working as a freelance translator. My translation experience to date has covered the following fields: Business, Trade, Education and Law.

OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE:

In 2008 I served as a tutor for an Advanced level Spanish programme for the Secretariat for the Implementation of Spanish (SIS) in the St. James Community. From September 2011 – April 2012, I served as the coordinator for a Spanish language program offered to members of staff at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre.
