Is downloading minecraft forge dangerous for your pc (viruses,malware,etc.) Sorry if this is dumb in any way or something, but chrome warns you about it, but i dont really have that much fun when i play minecraft without mods so im undecided about it. It's definitely safe, I've been using it for several years now and I've had zero issues. It's safe, but if you're not using an ad blocker, the top result on google for forge is an ad result that links to malware pretending to be forge. Also forge uses adfocus on it's download links, and sites like that often have misleading ads trying to trick you into clicking. Just make sure you're at the right website: and when you click the file to download, on the adfocus site, wait a few seconds for the 'skip' button to appear in the top right corner.
