Morphologic Features of Normal and Abnormal Lymphocytes - with pictures

Image BCI-18 shows a normal lymphocyte. This cell is an example of a small lymphocyte. However, lymphocytes are variable in size. In small lymphocytes the nuclei are relatively large when compared with the scanty amount of pale or moderately blue cytoplasm. In fact, the cytoplasm in this cell is barely visible. ................
