1. Provide assessment, treatment, and consultative services to preschool and school-aged children and adults with varying disorders of communication (language, phonology, apraxia, aphasia, dysarthria, voice, resonance, fluency, reading/writing, cognitive communication) and swallowing. A predominant clinical focus has been with the acquired brain injury population. A multidisciplinary team approach to development and rehabilitation is encouraged. Emphasis on preparation for or facilitation in the school setting; return to academic and work settings.

2. Conduct Catastrophic Determination and Independent Medical Evaluations for individuals with acquired brain injury.

3. Business management including human resources and operations.

4. Have consulted to various agencies/facilities around rehabilitation aspects (e.g. Milton District Hospital, to establish a Dysphagia Program including establishment of policies, procedures, guidelines, staff training and inservices).

5. Clinical mentor for initial practice registrants for professional College (CASLPO) registration.
