Note that the above are only 3 of many possible scenarios, for example, a patient could have a huge clot that causes total occlusion, but within a few minutes, some of the clot is lysed so that “only” a NSTEMI results; and, for that matter, a huge clot can form—cause transient chest pain—but then lyse completely, so that the entire episode is properly classified as “only” unstable ... ................
