The kinds of questions that drive research are the ones you’ve been hearing your entire school career and begin with the “W” words: Who, What, When, Where and Why. Sometimes, you’ll use How as well. On the most basic level, your research paper should begin with this question: What do I want to know? This is, in fact, the question that will help you select your research topic. Again, any topic you choose to pursue can be broken into questions.SO, let’s take a few of the topic from your list of “Selected Topics” reference sheet—both popular culture and sports topics--and see how they can be turned into questions.Hip-Hop Music LyricsAre Hip-Hop lyrics a form of literature?
