Project: PAR (Prior Authorization Request)

PAR application is authorization request processing system for Caremark Pharmacy that uses for different state Medicaid and Medicare. These applications receive the request from provider or member either via Fax, Web or Mail and verify this request against particular state drug database and send it back via Fax or Mail.

Responsibilities:

• Worked with BA to gather business requirement and translate them to functional specifications.

• Created SSIS packages to load the Formulary raw file into staging tables in Data warehouse.

• Applied various data transformations like Data conversion, Multicasting, Conditional Split, Derived column in SSIS.

The Photo Enforcement Application is a traffic violation processing system for cities and counties using red-light and speed cameras. The application processes complete workflow of the traffic violation from camera to court. The application performs many tasks including Violation Review and Workflow, Violation Notifications, Payment Processing, and Scheduling Court Appearance Dates.

Responsibilities:

• Worked with project lead and business users to understand business processes, gather and document project requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.

• Debugging and testing TSQL code and stored procedure. Log and manage the defects by using JIRA system.

• Provided 24 x 7 Production support for the database and application issues.

Responsibilities:

• Wrote simple and complex queries to analyze the production databases.

• Wrote DML to manipulate data when requested insert, update and deletes.

• Created cubes using SQL server Analysis Services (SSAS) and optimized these cubes.
