Project #1 – Company Research Presentation
You work for J.P. Morgan Chase and have been assigned to do research about a company for one of your high-profile clients who may be interested in investing some money into that company. You will be responsible for creating a presentation for this client.
1. You will be required to complete at least 11 slides using Google slides/Microsoft PowerPoint.
a. The presentation must have a consistent background design template and appropriate animations and slide transitions
b. Use appropriate color schemes and use speaker notes
c. DO NOT read off of slides
2. The information that you will be researching and including in your presentation is:
a. Who is the CEO? Include his/her level of education, prior experience, achievements, professional organizations and other interesting tidbits. You must state no professional organization if not applicable. (slide 1)
b. What products or services does your company offer? Include a montage of logos or product pictures. (slide 2)
c. What is the company’s history? When did they start? What was their original location?

d. What is your company’s ticker symbol? Where are they traded? (NASDAQ, NYSE).
(slide 4)
e. You will be required to track your company’s stock for 5 business days. You will then graph your data on MS Excel and import that data into a Google slide/ PowerPoint slide. You must have a graph of stock prices and also a chart displaying the stock prices for the 5 business days. (slide 5)
f. Be sure to answer the following questions about your company’s stock from
StockScouter on money. under Analysis (Analyst Recommendation)? (slide 6)
i. What is the Recommendation by analysts? (Buy, Hold, etc)
ii. What is the one year price target? Compare the target to the current stock price?
iii. What is the credit rating?
iv. Choose one event from “Top Stories” and briefly summarize findings.
g. Who are your company’s competitors? Include competitor logos. What makes your company unique when compared to its competitors? (slide 7)
h. What is your company’s slogan or motto? If available, include a copy of their advertising thematic. (ie. Nike Swoosh) (slide 8)
i. How can someone contact your company? Include street address, URL and/or general e-mail addresses, if any. (slide 9)
j. Are their any employment opportunities in your company? If so, find 2 jobs. List the title of each job and the requirements. (slide 10)
k. Community Service/Social Responsibility: How does your company contribute or help society (Donations, Scholarship Programs, Environment)? (slide 11)
Presentations Will Begin on _____!!! - 10 points off per day for those who are not ready by then. The order of presentations will be done randomly. This project will count as two grades!
