EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic Wendover Ambulance Service West Wendover, NV Job Description Wendover Ambulance has openings for full-time EMT's, Advanced EMTs and Paramedics. We average over 1,000 calls per year, and cover an 8,000 square mile service area. We provide advanced life support in the states of Utah and Nevada. We cover portions of Box Elder, Juab, and Tooele counties in Utah; Elko, and While Pine counties in Nevada. Our remote location offers a truly hands-on approach to patient care. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to run calls in a remote area and provide multiple prehospital interventions throughout prolonged transports.

-We average 10 special events per year. The events range from racing on the salt flats, racing events at knolls and to stand-by on movie and television sets.

Wendover Ambulance's equipment includes computerized patient care reporting, power gurneys, Zoll 'X' and 'E' series cardiac/ETCO2/blood pressure/pulse ox monitors.

We serve both Utah and Nevada. Therefore, our EMT's are required to be certified by both states. Applicants must hold current National Registry certification and certified in either Utah or Nevada. Upon hiring reciprocity will be provided.
