excessively low levels of testosterone.

D the whole year round. Its therefore recommended to take supplements in winter.

How much should you take?

You need to take between 3000 and 5300 IU/day for a 180lb man for this to have an

effect on testosterone levels.

Take vitamin D3 drops, readily available at your local pharmacy (300 IU per drop), or

expose yourself to sunlight for a minimum of 30 minutes per day in summer and spring

if you want to reach optimum levels.

Vitamin K

Vitamin K is the vitamin which makes blood coagulation possible, but according to a

Japanese study on rats, vitamin K in the form of vitamin K2 also stimulates the

production of testosterone, depending on the dose.

Vitamin K2 is synthesized by bacteria in the intestinal flora from plant matter in your

diet, and is also found in some fermented foods such as miso.

How much should you take?

The necessary intake for a man is 120 g per day. Supplements are available in the form

of menaquinone or MK7, the most effective form which is available to the body.

WARNING: Do not take vitamin K alongside anticoagulant medication, in particular in

men who have are predisposed to blood clots.

CITRULLINE

Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid which is produced by the body. Its one of the

three amino acids which are involved in the urea cycle, along with L-arginine and Lornithine.

You should know that arginine increases the production of nitric oxide in the body,

helping to improve vasodilation, which is crucial for good erections.

Paradoxically, by taking citrulline as a dietary supplement, you will raise the levels of

arginine available to your body, and therefore have more powerful erections.

Citrulline is a powerful precursor to arginine (3). Its more effective than taking arginine

itself as a supplement, and, unlike arginine itself, doesnt lead to any unpleasant side

effects (diarrhea).

How much should you take?

To deal with erection problems, it is recommended to take at least 1.5g of citrulline per

day. However, for rock-hard erections, you can safely take up to 7g of citrulline per day,

Starting from 50mg per day, zinc reduces the amount of testosterone conversion into

estrogen. If you have low testosterone levels, 30mg per day will be enough to raise your

levels. If this isnt the case, testosterone levels wont rise above normal.
