NAZI DBQ

Assignment: You will be writing a DBQ essay based on the following question:

What factors between 1918 and 1934 explain how the Nazis came to power?

You will be searching for primary source documents related to the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany between 1918 and 1934. You must find at least 6 documents. The documents must be a mix of visual documents (posters, cartoons, etc.) and written documents (excerpts from speeches, diary entries, etc.) that help to show how the Nazis were able to rise to power by August 1934. The documents should be brief (no more than 5-10 sentences for each written document) so that they are more manageable and easier to decipher. The documents must come from the appropriate era (between 1918-1934). YOU MAY NOT USE ANY DOCUMENT THAT I HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED OR PRESENTED. Make sure that you understand your documents as you will need to properly utilize them in your essay.
