You are 3x more likely to engage in risk behaviors while driving with multiple passengers in the car. Let’s do some math! Take one teenage driver and add two passengers under the age of 21. You’ve doubled the driver’s chances of getting into a fatal crash. Now, take that same teenage driver and add three passengers under the age of 21. You’ve now quadrupled the driver’s chances of getting into a fatal crash. Make sure you are following the extra passenger laws for North Carolina!There is a rumor on SnapChat that NCHS has canceled the SAT on Saturday because of the Coronavirus. This is incorrect.?There has been an increase in reckless driving in the student parking lot as students are leaving campus. We would like to invite your students to join us on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 3:30PM at McGill Baptist Church, 5300 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027.The Lady Cardinal Mentorship Program offers high school girls hands-on work experience in STEM-related fields, cultivating their career goals while encouraging continuing education. The mentorship program runs June 15-July-17th. Selected students are assigned to state agencies based on field of interest. Each student will earn a stipend and work a total of 40-hours a week. Students interested in applying for the 2020 summer mentorship program have until March 13, 2020.
