Guided the design and development of online tutorials to help nursing students develop the professional and interpersonal skills needed to face the emotional and physical demands associated with being a nurse. Each tutorial has accompanying case studies, assessments, faculty resources and a video library.

August, 2013 – The Communicator. Designed and guided development of the interactive simulator that allows students to practice communication with clients, their significant others and members of the healthcare team.

August, 2013 – The Leader. Designed and guided development of the interactive simulator that provides students with the opportunity to experience and respond to leadership and management challenges in the clinical setting.

August, 2013 – RN Review Modules (Fundamentals; Pharmacology; Adult Medical Surgical; Maternal Newborn; Nursing Care of Children; Mental Health; Community Health; Nutrition; Leadership and Management). Guided the design and development of Review Module books that provided a concise review of information in specific content areas.

August, 2012 – Real Life Clinical Reasoning Scenarios (5 RN Medical Surgical; 5 RN Maternal Newborn; 5 RN Nursing Care of Children; 4 RN Mental Health; 5 PN Medical Surgical). Guided the design and development of online simulator that allows nursing students to develop their clinical reasoning skills in an interactive but safe environment. Branching logic is incorporated to allow each student to experience the results of their clinical decisions.

Each module includes Step-by –step video instruction; accepted practice guidelines; evidence based research; practice challenges; frequently asked questions; instructions for documentation; terminology enunciation; performance checklist; pre and posttests; and a certificate of completion.
