Nomination of officers● Nominating committee will be created (Mollie, Denise, Paula, Carol, andSuzie)● The committee will create a slate of officers for 1 year term● Current officers will be asked if they wish to continue● The following offices are needed: VP of membership, Socials, Secretary,Treasurer, VP of Communication2. Election● Open board positions need to be filled with new members to get them involved and need enough positions so more people can participate.3. Recruitment● Monica will design a business card to give to potential members bec easy to carry in purse and have on hand. Can have many members carry it and hand out.● Kristi will prepare a flyer for the Meet your Neighbors Mixer and distribute to Newcomers in neighborhood inviting them to the party.● Communicate the yearly cost of $25 on front page of website and on flyers so people know price upfront and don’t think it is as expensive as the country club.4. Other New Business● Birthdays, card or email● Magnet with website to be considered● Newsletter to new contacts● Newsletter needs to be updated in a timely matter● Leaders of activities needed● Possible June party/socialReport from VP of Activities, Suzie Schmidt● Regular activities: Foodies, Book Club, MahJong, Pickleball, Zoom Happy Hours,Men’s Poker Games, Bike Rides on Mondays, Walkers/Talkers (this has fallen off),Cultural Events (postponed due to Covid 19)● Survey results: Interest in wine tastings, cooking classes, happy hours, holidaypotlucks, museum visits. People really like events with food and drink.● Cooking classes were temporarily suspended by most venues due to covid but Susie is researching● Twisted Sipsters needs to be planned● Meet and Greet Mixer/Happy Hour 6:30 p.m. 4.16.2021 will be planned by MonikaMeeting adjourned @ 2:38 p.m. ................
