The Society, under the auspices of NEJM Group, publishes the?New England Journal of Medicine,?a leading global medical journal and web site, and NEJM Journal Watch alerts and publications covering 12 specialties.We are currently seeking a Senior Online Traffic Specialist to work in our Waltham, MA office.The Senior Online Traffic Specialist will primarily be responsible for coordinating, trafficking, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns for , , and . He or she will also be responsible for forecasting impression inventory and managing product inventory in order to fulfill campaigns, optimize performance, and maximize digital ad sales.Responsibilities:Manage onsite digital advertising orders and traffic campaigns (paid and house).Work closely with AS Team and sales to manage product and impression inventory.Work closely with sales and agency/client contacts to prepare, review, and approve campaign contracts (e.g., insertion orders, terms and conditions).Initial review of ad creative to confirm that it is “accepted” content; consult with Manager, DA&O and Director, Client Services & Operations (CS&O) as needed.Review advertiser creative for adherence to specifications and request revised files/tags as needed.Assess feasibility of specific client serving requirements and accommodate as appropriate. Provide coverage for trafficking campaigns for NEJM and NEJM JW email products as needed.Respond to routine client queries and requests relative to campaign metrics, including standard performance, NHT, OUS and viewability.Work with AS billing group to verify monthly campaign serving and support accurate and timely invoicing.Ongoing forecasting and management of impression inventory in order to fulfill monthly campaigns, optimize performance, and maximize digital sales. Consult with Communications each month to review campaigns for potential content “conflict”. Understand and utilize relevant 3rd party ad server and measurement dashboards (e.g., DoubleClick, DoubleVerify) to access and monitor campaign metrics. Develop and prepare routine and ad hoc reports and analyses for Director, CS&O, Manager, DA&O, and internal stakeholders.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in online trafficking.BA/BS or equivalent experience required. Must have solid working knowledge of internet advertising technology. Must be customer focused and have good vendor management skills. Strong organization and time management skills, detail-oriented and focused. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and organizational skills.
