MEMORANDUM

Although Southern Nevada Health District will no longer require or perform TB testing, TB testing will still be required for Child Care Licensing per NAC 432A.310:

1. Every member of the staff of a facility, including a volunteer, shall present to the director of the facility, to be placed in the employee's file, written evidence that the employee is free from communicable tuberculosis. The evidence must be in the form of a report which states that the employee is free from active tuberculosis as required pursuant to subsection 2 or 3.

It will be the responsibility of the facility to ensure that all employees are in accordance with this Child Care Licensing regulation code.
