Overview

This 2.5-day training class helps auditors to extend their knowledge with respect to the ERM methodology and more specifically the importance of considering risks in both the strategysetting process and in driving performance. These new insights will ensure that the auditor is capable of advising management as to how risk management should be considered in the selection of strategy and what the mindset and culture for risk taking should be, thereby providing the entity with a clear path to creating, preserving and realizing value.

The class will include practical examples, group discussions and small group exercises. The training class itself and all materials will be in English

The COSO ERM Program consists of one online pre-work module, an on-site training and an online exam. Participants who successfully complete this training will receive: ? 22 CPE hours for completion of the pre-work module and on-site training ? A COSO ERM Certificate upon successful completion of the exam

Who should attend

Internal auditors (all levels) with particular interest in Enterprise Risk Management.

Prerequisites

o Basic knowledge of (internal) audit and the COSO 2004 ERM framework o A few years experience in (internal) audit o Experience with risk management and governance audit is a nice-to-have o Read the COSO 2017 ERM Framework o Complete the interactive, online self-study module
