The USO provides a host of programs and services that promote the morale and welfare

of our troops and their families ? from entertainment to family support services to personal emergency assistance and more.

Frequently, tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, local sporting events, comedy clubs, and musicals are donated to the USO. When these tickets are available, they are posted on the Home page and tickets

are distributed at one of their two USO Service Centers.

Big Apple Greeter

is a volunteer-based group whose intent is making New York City accessible for visitors.

Big Apple Greeter services are provided free of charge thanks to the support of generous donors and the New Yorkers who serve as Greeters (all of whom are volunteers). These Greeters come from varied backgrounds and can welcome visitors in over 20 languages.

Greeters and visitors are matched according to language, neighborhoods requested, and interests, when possible.

Fill out a form on the website given above and a Greeter will meet you to give you a personalized tour of the city!

School Theater Ticket Program

, the School Theater Ticket Program, offers discount tickets to a variety of popular New York City Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, as well as special museum admissions.

The MWR Office keeps a few coupons in stock on the table outside of the office (show tickets are not for sale in the office).

The Subase N-Lon Information Tours & Ticket office has a new partner website where you can book your own Broadway show tickets at reduced rates.

Lodging

Soldiers', Sailors', Marines', Coast Guard and Airmen's Club

The Soldiers', Sailors', Marines', Coast Guard and Airmen's Club is the only private organization in the New York area to provide accommodations at subsidized rates and club-type facilities for servicemen and servicewomen, military retirees, and veterans and their families visiting New York City. In order to maximize the availability of our facility and to minimize our rates, the Club, unlike other hotels, rents individual beds instead of rooms. There are separate communal lavatories and showers for men and women on each sleeping floor. The VIP room has one queen size bed, a television, refrigerator,

and upscale decor. It is available to a sole occupant or to a couple.
