2022 Refuse & Recycling Pick-up Schedule

ALL RESIDENTS MUST RECYCLE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

1. CO-MINGLED Tin & Aluminum Cans & Foil Plastic Containers & Cartons ? includes juice boxes, frozen food containers. Remove caps and rinse. Labels may stay on. Glass, Bottles & Jars ? clear, green, and brown. Remove caps and rinse. Labels may stay on.

2. MIXED PAPERS ? NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES,

CARDBOARD, JUNK MAIL, BOXES, OFFICE PAPER,

PAPERBACK BOOKS, & TELEPHONE BOOKS ? tie in bundles no larger than 12". Brown craft cardboard must be flattened & tied.

3. PLEASE DO NOT PUT CO-MINGLED ITEMS

IN PLASTIC BAGS. The Town provides green recycle containers to residents. An empty garbage can may also be used. Please label garbage can to indicate it contains items for recycle.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS FOR PICK-UP Furniture, gas grill (no tank), hot water heater, etc.

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS FOR PICK-UP Construction / renovation debris, tires, grass or leaves,

computer equipment & TVs If you have in excess of one item per week, please call the Town Hauler at 343-5566 or consult the yellow pages for

a hauler of your choice. Dumpsters are required for construction debris. There will be a charge for these

services. Bulk/Large Item pick-up begins the 1st Thursday in April; it will end the last Friday in December 2022

PAPER AND CO-MINGLED CAN NOW BE COMBINED AND PUT

There will be no garbage/recycle pick-up on the following Holidays:

CURBSIDE EVERY WEDNESDAY BY 5:00 AM

Recycling bins can be picked up from the Town Highway Garage at 87 Mine Road.
