FIREBALL Gives Players' Numbers More Firepower for the New Jersey Exclusive Pick-3 and Pick-4 Daily Games
Trenton (Feb. 22, 2017) ? The New Jersey Lottery has taken players' favorite daily games, Pick-3 and Pick-4, and given them more firepower with the addition of a new game add-on, FIREBALL. Players can add FIREBALL onto their base game ticket purchase to provide additional opportunities to win cash prizes. A drawing will be held immediately following the Pick-3 and Pick-4 drawings, in the custom FIREBALL machine, to produce the FIREBALL number.
The FIREBALL machine will randomly select a number from 0 ? 9. When a ticket is purchased with the addition of FIREBALL, the FIREBALL number can be used to replace any one of the three or four winning numbers drawn from the respective Pick-3 or Pick-4 drawings, to create new FIREBALL winning combinations. If players match the FIREBALL winning combinations, they win a FIREBALL prize. The FIREBALL number gives players another chance to win on their same Pick-3 or Pick-4 numbers. Players can win FIREBALL prizes in addition to any base game prizes. FIREBALL can be added to any bet type played.
FIREBALL launches Monday, February 27. The Close Enough bet type will no longer be available beginning on Monday, February 20.
To play FIREBALL, first select either Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Wheel, or Pair bet types. FIREBALL can be added to each play for the same price as the base wager. For example, a Pick-3 Straight wager of $.50 can have FIREBALL added for an additional $.50, totaling a $1.00 wager.
