On Monday, they created a group definition of realistic fiction, and will continue their studies of the genre until the end of December. Writing:Students are in the midst of a genre study on memoirs. They are still immersing themselves in memoir picture books and novels. They are studying these texts to create their own definition and figure out what memoirs have in common. Math:We are about to start our unit on multiplying by 10s and using multiple towers. You can help by practicing math facts with your child. Knowing the facts makes multiplication problems much easier.Social Studies:Students are learning about 5 ethnic groups.
