ASSOCIATE DEAN OF CLINICAL EDUCATION (ADCE), COLLEGE OF MEDICINE The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane, Washington invites applications for a full-time non-tenure, Clinical track position in the area of Clinical Education in Spokane, WA. The Associate Dean for Clinical Education is the principal academic officer for the College of Medicine at the Spokane clinical campus. She/he/they is a physician administrator with demonstrated success in the education of medical learners and the development of faculty toward their highest potential in their chosen field. She/he/they ensures that the educational experience each learner encounters in and around Spokane, WA is of the highest quality possible and in compliance with the requirement of accreditation. She/he/they ensures that the faculty of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) associated with the Spokane campus are properly oriented to their roles and responsibilities as educators. She/he/they directs the delivery of medical education, working with hospitals, clinics, WSU Spokane campus, and faculty to ensure a quality education program is delivered in Spokane. Required qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine MD, or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine DO, with Board Certification in his / her specialty; Acknowledged experience with medical education delivery and health care delivery systems; Experience managing professionals in a complex organization Preference is given to applicants with experience at rank of Associate Professor or higher at an accredited medical school in the United States; Experience interacting with the LCME or other educational accrediting bodies; Served in a senior leadership role in a community based medical school or academic health centerApplicants should apply online through WSU Human Resources () and submit a letter of application describing their skills/knowledge/expertise relevant to the required and preferred qualifications, a CV, and contact information for three professional references.
