You are going to make a foldable of the following rules/definitions for Geometry. You will use notebook paper to create this foldable. Please keep it in a notebook to add foldables and vocabulary in the future. Directions for foldable: Fold a sheet of notebook paper in half like a hotdog leaving the “holes margin” visible. You will need to do this for 2 sheets of notebook paper. On the side folded over, cut the header line and every 4th line down. This should result in 7 tabs. On your second sheet of notebook paper try to create 8 tabs(large enough to fit the boxes below)Cut out the diagram/example with the “how to state as a reason in a proof” box together. You will lift the flap up that you cut out and tape this to the paper where they will be visible.Diagram/ExampleHow to State as a Reason in an Exercise or Proofa=b“Vertical angles are equal in measure”m∠AOB=m∠AOC+m∠COB leftcenter00“Angle addition postulate”leftcenter00a+b=180“Linear pairs form supplementary angles”a+b+c+d=180“Consecutive adjacent angles on a line sum to 180°”25401778000m∠ABC+m∠CBD+m∠DBA=360?“Angles at a point sum to 360°”m∠A+m∠B +m∠C=180°“Sum of the angle measures in a triangle is 180°”Diagram/ExampleHow to State as a Reason in an Exercise or Proofm∠BAC+m∠ABC=m∠BCD“Exterior angle of a triangle equals the sum of the two interior opposite angles”76136512128500“Base angles of an isosceles triangle are equal in measure”574040-8001000“All angles in an equilateral triangle have equal measure"5816604381500“If parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then corresponding angles are equal in measure”464820825500“If parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then interior angles on the same side are supplementary”m∠A= 90°; m∠B+m∠C=90°“Acute angles in a right triangle sum to 90°”29527512700000“If parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then alternate interior angles are equal in measure” ................
