ASEWU Executive Reports:Discussion regarding executive president report- Lloyd V Dees [3 min]Lloyd has been reaching out to students and clubs to let them know how ASEWU can and is willing to help them especially during the pandemicDiscussion regarding executive vice president report- Victoria Mahle [3 min]Victoria has been scheduling meetings with council for their bi weekly meetings. She has been recruiting for the PUB Board committee. Discussion regarding executive finance vice president report- Emily Fitzgerald [3 min]Emily has been working on the S and A and Finance committeesShe has been working on putting forms on EagleSync Committee Reports: Discussion Items:Discussion regarding COVID and how ASEWU can take a stance- Hayleemae Martin [20 min]Hayleemae explained there has been a large rise in cases on campus. She provided us with a link to an Inside EWU explaining our stats on COVID on campus.()Hayleemae advised us to stay safe, stay home if we can, wear masks and social distance. Sydney talked about how we need to lead by example in order to keep a positive impact on campus.Discussion regarding ASEWU group goals for the 2020-2021 term- Lloyd Dees [15 min]Lloyd has been using the term TERC to describe our goals. TERC stands for technology, engagement, reporting and community well-being. Lloyd asked how we can continue going with these goals without feeling like we are overstepping into other’s position. Desmond talked about splitting the cost of laptops between EWU and WSU for the Spokane campus, since we share the campus. The issues of turf war, politics and moving into the catalyst builind were brought up as potentiall topics. Josh talked about assigning one person to take action for each goal and they lead their teams through the process. Petal discussed having each group report about what they have done, where they are at and what the plan is to do in the future at each work session.Discussion regarding SB6313 and Student Engagement Centers- Danica Jenck [10 min]Danica explained that we need to have a center open from 8am to 8pm on Election Day (November 3rd) for students to be able to download the ballots and other materials needed for votingThere will need to be dividers, hand sanitizers etc to keep students safe.There have been students that volunteered to do the graphic designs for the event. Danica will work on what she wants to advertise it as and hwo to start putting it together.This will need to help from all of ASEWU with staffing, set up and tear down.
