Symposium objectives (at the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to): Describe issues related to systems of care for management of pediatric & adult IBD patients Explain difference in disease distribution and phenotype of IBD patients Identify issues related to women's health and IBD care Review the impact of diet and nutrition for the young adult with IBD Discuss psychological issues related to the chronic disease of IBD Discuss treatment strategies and surgical needs for the IBD patient Discuss role of tele-health for the transition of care clinics Discuss quality improvement and outcomes for the care of the young adult with IBD
