Tonight's Matchup

•         The Wolves and Thunder have met one other time in the preseason with the Wolves getting the 88-82 win on Oct. 8, 2008 in Billings, Montana. It was the Thunder's first game after moving from Seattle to Oklahoma City.

•         Oklahoma City won three of the four regular season matchups in 2013-14. Overall, the Wolves trail in the series 28-70.

Wolves Notes

•         The Wolves are 1-2 this preseason, losing at Indiana, 103-90, on Oct. 7, defeating Philadelphia at Target Center, 116-110, on Oct. 10, and losing to Milwaukee in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Oct. 17, 105-98. In the loss at Indiana, Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves in scoring with 18 points while Gorgui Dieng had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. In the win over the 76ers, Mo Williams led the Wolves with 19 points and Ricky Rubio added 9 assists. In the loss to Milwaukee, Dieng led the Wolves in scoring with 16 points and Anthony Bennett had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

•         Andrew Wiggins and Thaddeus Young have scored in double-digits in all three on the Wolves' preseason games.

•         Minnesota has a 96-86 overall record in preseason play, including a 4-3 record last season and an 18-9 record since 2010.

•         The Wolves finished the 2013-14 season with a 40-42 record, the team's best record since finishing 44-48 in 2004-05.

•         Oklahoma City ties: Kevin Martin played one season (2012-13) for Oklahoma City, averaging 14.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 77 games off the bench.

Thunder Notes

•         The Thunder is 2-3 this preseason, losing at Denver, winning at Dallas and vs. Memphis and losing at New Orleans and vs. Toronto. Oklahoma City has allowed an average of 111.8 ppg this preseason.

•         Oklahoma City completed the 2013-14 regular season with a record of 59-23, good for 1st in the Northwest Division and the 2nd-best record in the Western Conference. The Thunder defeated Memphis in the opening round of the playoffs, 4 games to 3. OKC then defeated the L.A. Clippers, 4-2, before falling to the San Antonio Spurs in the West Finals, 4-2.

•         New to the Thunder roster this season are Michael Jenkins, Mitch McGary, Anthony Morrow, Richard Solomon, Sebastian Telfair, Lance Thomas and Talib Zanna.

•         Minnesota ties: Sebastian Telfair played three seasons for the Timberwolves (2007-09, 2010-11), averaging 9.1 points and 4.7 assists in 172 games.
