Q: How to connect a TiVo DVR to your wireless network?A: 1) Connect a WLAN adapter to one of the USB ports at the back of your DVR.2) Place the adapter on a flat surface in an open area, and open it until it clicks into place. A new message will be waiting for you, indicating that a network adapter has been detected.4) Select?Set Up Network?at the bottom of the message. The DVR will attempt to access your network. If the router is set up to give out IP addresses automatically (most routers are), and the connection is successful, the DVR will display “Network Setup Complete”.Note:?If you need to enter the router name because the router does not broadcast its SSID, or if the router is not set up to give out an IP address (that is, it is not a DHCP server), the DVR will prompt you to choose where to get an IP address (network address) for the DVR:8) Choose?Get automatically from DHCP server. If the router is set up to give out IP addresses automatically, and the connection is successful, the DVR will display?Network Setup Complete.Note:?If your DVR failed to connect to your network, you will be prompted to change your network settings. Make sure your network password and other network settings are correct. The adapter's link indicator will blink slowly while it searches for your network. Once the adapter is connected, the link indicator will stop blinking. If the adapter is unable to find your network, reposition the adapter to face your wireless hub. During data transmission, the indicator will flicker rapidly. ................
