|Purpose of the Department/unit |

|The CBS & PRM section is responsible for operation and maintenance of CBS, CRM, PRM, & ISP billing system, including solution implementation, |

|handling customer care and monitoring equipments. Besides, the section also needs to work closely with commercial department and other |

|departments in designing and implementing new marketing packages from time to time. |

|Position summary |

|Billing engineer will be working under CBS & PRM section for deploying/implementing and O&M of New ISP billing and PRM System. |

|Duties and Responsibilities |

|Deployment, upgradation and expansion of the system capacities, features and functionalities as per the business requirement and decision of |

|the TICL Management. Administration and management of the various resources allocated to the section including office equipment, tools, |

|furniture, etc. Administration and supervision of the staff assigned to the section/unit including assignment of duties, training, performance |

|evaluation, etc. |

|Maintaining proper documentation of the systems including engineering diagrams, cabling diagrams, configurations documentation, O&M records and|

|other pertinent information. |

|Operation, maintenance and management of ISP billing and PRM Systems including Roaming and Interconnect. Designing packages/plan for leasedline|

|customers as per need for commercial department. |

|Operations, configuration & troubleshooting of data communication & networking products like routers, switches, firewalls, etc. that are used |

|for interconnection of the various nodes within Mobile Core Network. |

|Handling customer care or call center executives inquires & complaint during office hours and off-time. |

|Provide trainings to the end users of the system as and when required. |

|Testing and troubleshooting of ISP billing and PRM systems and applications including carrying out planned maintenance in consultation with |

|other sections / departments of TICL. |

|Handling issues from system end users related to ISP billing system and escalating to concern authorities if not solvable at your level. |

|Acquisition of skills at a progressively higher level through self-learning, training and interaction with other staff with an objective of |

|gaining expert level knowledge with the various components. |

|Performing other tasks and duties as and when assigned and required by the department and the company. |

|Working conditions |

|The employee will be required to carry out skill-based work involving application and maintenance of database. He/she should have a basic |

|knowledge on Oracle database, SQL queries and should have basic knowledge in using PL/SQL. While the employee is expected to follow normal work|

|hours, he/she is required to work overtime, late at night or on holidays if the situation so demands. The employee will be provided hands on |

|training as well as informal one on the aspects of the job. However, the employee is expected to do a lot of self-learning using the resources |

|provided. |
