Transcript Direct - Student WorkflowTranscript Direct: Student WorkflowTranscript Direct, a key feature of Receiver allows receivers to integrate student transcript requests into their online application process. College-branded to provide a seamless look and feel, it allows applicants to easily request transcripts from within a receiver’s existing admissions workflow, enhancing the user experience.It doesn’t matter if the school from which the transcript is being requested is in or out of the Parchment network. If they are out-of-network, Parchment will fax the request to them. Transcript Direct displays the status of each request and allows Receiver administrators to follow-up on those requests with a single click.When a student is directed to Parchment as part of the Transcript Request workflow, students who already have an account with Parchment can use their existing account to sign in or create a new account.Step 1: Sign In using your existing account or Create a new accountSign In to your existing Parchment account or complete the one-time registration to create a new account.Step 2: Select InstitutionsIf during the college application process, you identified the College Board (CEEB) codes of the schools that you wish to request transcripts from, those schools will be displayed in the Request Transcripts pop-up when you sign in.Click the check box to select or deselect institutions.If you wish to add an institution, click the check box for “Additional Institutions”.Click Request Transcripts to continue or cancel to quit.If you did not select the checkbox to for Additional Institutions go to step 5.Step 3: Search for Additional InstitutionsIf you have selected “Additional Institutions” the Search for Schools/Colleges page will be displayed.Select the institution type that you wish to search for; High School or College. If the college you are applying to does not accept one of these institution types, the option will be grayed out.Enter the name and address information for the institution that you wish to add and select Search.A list of schools matching the name and address information that you entered will be displayed.Click on the checkbox to select an institution from the list or select “I cannot find my institution in this search. I need to add Sending Institution to my list”.Select Save and Continue.If you selected an institution from the list, and are not adding any more institutions go to step 5.Step 4: Add InstitutionIf you selected “I cannot find my institution in this search…” the add institution page will be displayed.Enter the name and address for the institution that you wish to add and select “Add Institution to List”The system will perform an advanced search and attempt to find a match based on the partial name and an exact match on the address. Any potential matches will be displayed.Select a matching institution or select “None of these suggestions are my institution.” and select “Continue”.The enrollment page will be displayed.Step 5: Enrollment InformationEnter enrollment information and select “Continue” If there is a transcript authorization signature on file, and fees are due, the payment form will be displayed.If there is no transcript authorization signature on file, the Transcript Authorization Form will be displayed.Step 6: Transcript AuthorizationIf this is the first time you have requested a transcript from Parchment (new account) or there is no transcript authorization signature on file, you will be prompted to complete a Transcript Authorization form.Select “Continue”.Once you have completed the transcript authorization form, or if there is a signature on file, if fees are due, the payment form will be displayed.Step 7: PaymentEnter payment information and select “Submit”Step 8: ConfirmationThe confirmation page shows the unique document ID and the status of the request.For In Network requests, Parchment will send the request electronically and no further action will be required.For Out of Network requests where the student has provided a fax number, the request will be faxed. If a response is not received from the sending institution within 5 business days, Parchment will notify the student via email.For Out of Network requests where a fax number was not provided, the student will be instructed to print the Transcript Request Form and deliver it to the sending institution.The student will be responsible for paying any transcript fees directly to Out of Network institutions.If the receiving institution has chosen to provide a link to return to the college site you may select “View College page” to return to the college site.Students may sign in to their account at any time to view the current status of their requests. ................
