There are a number of ways to get to and from O'Hare International Airport. Located just 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, O'Hare International Airport is accessible via local mass transit lines, regional trains and buses, downtown and suburban shuttles and interstate highways. Most ground transportation access areas are located at the main entrance for each terminal. View roadway conditions from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Use public transportation CTA (Blue Line) as a fast and convenient way to travel to and from the airport, avoiding traffic. Metra and other regional train and bus information may be obtained by going to the website for the Chicago Area Regional Transportation Authority.
