MINISTRY PREPARATION PROCESS

SUPERVISOR GUIDELINES

INTRODUCTION

The Pastoral Institute welcomes you as a supervisor for the Ministry Preparation

Process that provides participants with an in-depth preparation for specialized

ministries.

Your role in the process is a significant one as you journey with the individual

during the next six to nine months. By sharing your wisdom and expertise, you

will become a coach, a companion, and at times a cheerleader for the person

you will supervise. There is also the deeper relationship of collaborators in

ministry 每 women and men working together to foster the mission of Jesus and

the mission of the Church.

These Supervisor Guidelines provide an overview of your role and

responsibilities. The Appendices include the forms that you will need to complete

during the practicum experience. Additionally, you will have access to the

Pastoral Institute Online Classroom where you may download these Guidelines

and forms.

Also included in this document are sections from the Participants* Handbook that

you will need during the practicum process.

It is the hope of the Pastoral Institute that you will be richly blessed by your

collaboration in the Ministry Preparation Process.
